Foundation is in! 90 days and we should be moving in.... so they say. Yew Tree Drive is taking shape. November 8, 2003. Steel beams and sill plate are in. Any day now the flatbed should be showing up with all the framing materials. November 8, 2003. A different angle. December 12, 2003. Our digital camera broke, so, we missed some of the action. A lot can happen in a month. We are now told that we will close on February 5th.... but possibly a day or two or seven later. Only, rain gutters and some misc. items left. As expected, the closing date has been moved to February 17th. Supposedly, this is an actual commitment. We'll see... View of the kitchen. Hardwood floors are installed but covered with cardboard until all appliances are installed. Closing will be the 17th. Our final walk-through is February 11th, two 1/2 working days away. Still seems like a lot of work for two days but they say it will be complete. If you look closely, you can seen a bunch of green dots on the walls. Each one is something that needs to be touched up. There are hundreds of these all over the house.
